Seeking Digital Forensics Investigations Consultant to lead data collection and analysis. Must have 2+years in Digital Forensics, experience with forensic tools, and be near an HKA US office.

The Opportunity:
The Digital Forensics Investigation Consultant is responsible for the forensic collection and analysis of electronic data from various sources, including computers, mobile devices, and cloud platforms. Ideal candidates have expertise following industry best practices for data collection and chain of custody, using standard digital forensic tools such as Axiom, EnCase, and Relativity. You would also bring a strong background in assisting with forensic analysis investigations, expert report writing, and eDiscovery consulting.

Responsibilities include:
- Lead on-site data collection at client facilities, including domestic and international travel.
- Verify, analyze, and securely transfer data sets from the field.
- Apply best practices for handling and analyzing electronic evidence.
- Perform forensic investigations as needed.
- Utilize both off-the-shelf and proprietary data collection, analysis, and reporting tools.
- Process data into Relativity and assist with workspace setup and review support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Digital Forensics, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- 2+ Experience in Digital Forensics
- Experience managing Forensic Investigations
- High level of experience and familiarity using Relativity
- Familiarity with other digital forensic tools such as EnCase, Axiom, Cellebrite, Oxygen, Blacklight, FTK, NUIX, and open-source forensic tools.
- Strong understanding of Windows and MacOS systems, with experience in Linux and UNIX environments.
- Demonstrable expertise in cloud-based enterprise systems, such as M365 and Google Workspace.
- Professional certifications including EnCE / CCE / ACE preferred but not required.
