The Opportunity:
HKA has taken substantial measures to grow our Forensic Accounting service line over the last few years. As we continue our growth, we're seeking a Manager-level Consultant with relevant experience in the Forensics space. Whether you are specialized in Commercial Damages, Investigations, are more of a Generalist, we are very interested in meeting you!
You will be responsible for:
- Creating and managing materials to support our Expert Witnesses, including expert reports.
- Supervising teams performing detailed financial analyses and building financial models.
- Assessing damages analyses prepared by opposing experts and preparing rebuttal opinions and analyses.
- Conducting data analysis to identify anomalies, relationships, or trends.
- Conducting fact-based investigations to test the validity of allegations using proven investigative approaches and the latest technology.
- Managing workflow and deliverables for the teams you are working with and the colleagues you are supervising.
- Communicating results and explaining work product to team members and clients.
- Drafting sections of expert reports.
- Managing interactions with clients.
- Performing business development activities and attending networking events.
- Delivering training and developing colleagues.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business/Management.
- A minimum of 6 years' experience as CPA, CFE, Forensic Consultant or Financial Consultant.
- 3+ years experience consulting in Forensic Accounting, Commercial Damages, Valuations or Disputes.
- Expertise in Data Analysis, Data Modeling, and more. Experience with SQL preferred but not required.
Compensation and Benefits:
HKA offers an annual salary range between $135,000 and $165,000 depending on evaluation of transferable skills, qualifications and experience.
