Director, Discovery and Forensic Technology

The Opportunity:
HKA seeks an experienced Director for our growing Discovery and Forensic Technology team. Ideal candidates will possess excellent client communication, adept technical skills in computer forensics and data analysis, proven people management, and a solid history of serving law firms and their clients with discovery and forensic technology solutions in commercial and investigative contexts.
General Responsibilities
- Assist counsel and clients with discovery related matters
- Support computer forensic tracing where needed and summarize results
- Aid in business email compromise analytics when required
- Review and analyze data in the context of data privacy and information governance related issues faced by clients
- Conduct fact-based investigations to test the validity of allegations using proven investigative approaches and the latest technology.
- Communicate with client project liaison on a consistent basis.
- Provide collaboration on the production of Expert reports.
- Work within deadlines/priorities across multiple projects, delegating/collaborating with team members.
- A positive and collaborative way of working, fostering good internal and external relationships whilst maintaining the confidential nature of client relationships and related work products.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 8+ years’ experience in Computer Forensics
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science or Statistics.
- Commitment to undertaking high-quality analysis with strong problem solving and attention to detail.
- Confidence in using key Microsoft Suite tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Access, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills that allow efficiency and clarity when interacting with a wide variety of audiences and simplifying complex topics.
Compensation:
HKA is committed to offering competitive compensation packages to those who join our team of brilliant consultants. For this position, we offer a salary ranging between $170,000 - $240,000, depending on experience, qualifications and overall fit. This is in combination with our eligibility to participate in our full benefits program including retirement plan, performance and other bonuses, and more.
