The Opportunity:
A rare opportunity has presented itself in our Sydney Forensic Accounting & Commercial Damages (FACD) team. This is a fantastic opportunity for inquisitive individuals to leverage their accounting knowledge and analytical skills to explore the world of Forensic Accounting.
You will work with world-leading Expert Witnesses, receiving hands-on experience delving into data, and developing financial models. Additionally, you will be exposed to expert reports and client interaction.
This is an opportunity to work on disputes and forensic accounting investigations projects across Australia and the Asia Pacific region in a variety of industries. In this role, you will be responsible for:
Assisting in the production of expert reports.
Researching and analysing quantitative and qualitative data.
Conducting financial analysis and investigations.
Developing financial models from transactional and financial data.
Using relevant software tools for research and analysing data.
Communicating results and work product as appropriate, internally and externally to clients.
Assisting in client events and business development.
Skills and Experience:
You are a curious individual, interested in applying your education in a unique field. You may already have an interest in Forensic Accounting or want to try something a little different to your conventional accounting role. If any of this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!
Ideally you will possess the following skills and experience:

You have strong problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
You have exceptional written and communication skills.

You have integrity and want to be part of a highly supportive team with strong family values.
You have a strong focus on learning and development – both being coached, and coaching others.
You might have experience in Forensic Accounting and Valuations, with exposure to disputes and/or damages, but otherwise you might have experience in Audit, Valuations, Transaction Services, or an inhouse role.
