The Opportunity:
We are expanding our International Business Development (BD) Team and are seeking a dynamic Business Development Director to drive growth with key global accounts, including major international law firms and selected multi-national organisations.
In this strategic role, you will cultivate and deepen client relationships that generate meaningful revenue across the Asia Pacific region. You will also play a key part in shaping go‑to‑market strategies for HKA’s service lines and positioning our experts and capabilities in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, strengthen, and manage relationships with priority clients to expand HKA’s footprint across Asia Pacific.
Identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities that align with HKA’s growth objectives.
Contribute to the creation and execution of initiatives that elevate HKA’s brand, market presence, and value proposition.
Engage proactively with prospective clients to introduce HKA’s services and convert opportunities into revenue.
Represent HKA at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to build visibility and foster new connections.
Support the development of targeted go‑to‑market strategies and business development plans.
Skills and Experience:
Ideally you will possess the following skills and experience:
Experience working within a professional services environment.
A demonstratable network of client contacts and a strong understanding of business development principles, with a track record of sourcing and converting new opportunities.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate insights, recommendations, and value propositions to senior stakeholders.
A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Proven experience leading or taking accountability for projects, initiatives, or workstreams.
A self-motivated mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with peers across regions and disciplines.
Experience with using CRM systems to manage pipelines, track engagement, and support relationship development.
