The Opportunity
Our Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages (FACD) practice in Australia have started 2026 with a high note, continuing to expand their practice, and are now seeking an experienced Forensic Accountant to join the team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on and lead disputes, investigations, and valuation projects across the Asia Pacific region in a variety of industries.

In this role, you will be doing the following:
Leading and delivering complex assignments.
Managing and mentoring junior members of the team, acting as the “go to” person for technical areas.
Serving as an expert on a wide field of sophisticated matters, managing expert reports and formulating inputs into opinions.
Performing detailed financial analysis and investigations, and developing financial models from transactional and financial data.
Presenting findings and results to both internal and external clients.
Actively contributing to and generating a variety of business development opportunities and being a brand ambassador through different channels (e.g. social media, client events).
Developing strong client relationships.
Skills and Experience
This is what we are looking for:
You will have a minimum of 9 years’ experience in forensic accounting and disputes, valuation or related industries. You will be a Qualified Accountant or have similar qualifications.
You are a strategic thinker who is comfortable working through ambiguity and loves an intellectual challenge.
You excel in preparing loss of profit models in relation to disputes and damages calculations, and are comfortable working with data sets, such as general ledgers, bank statements and other structured data.
You have demonstrable skills managing and mentoring junior members.
You have exceptional written and communication skills, and have experience delivering and producing sections of technical reports and letters.
You are confident managing multiple matters while guiding and supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.
You are building your network of contacts and are actively contributing to strategic business development initiatives.
You value integrity and enjoy being part of a highly supportive team built on strong values.
You take ownership of your growth, proactively seeking learning and development opportunities.
