BIM Manager

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a BIM Manager with exceptional Building Information Modelling, Information Management, and Digital skills to complement our expanding team of Digital specialists.
As part of this role you will:
- Support the Experts with their appointments
- Build Models in-house
- Help teach others in the business about BIM
Skills and Experience:
Ideally you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible, creative problem-solving skills.
- Initiative and proactive working methodology
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a member of a team.
- Professional proficiency and experience using a CAD/BIM software packages essential (e.g. Revit, Navisworks Manage, Solibri, Synchro, or similar)
- Experience creating and managing building information models
- Understanding of standards (PAS 1192, ISO 19650 standards)
- Understanding of Common Data Environments/Project Information management practices
- Experience drafting BEPs and EIRs
- 5+ years relevant experience
Preferable Candidates will have:
- Ability to teach colleagues about BIM & Information Management
- A keen interest in developing their experience with dispute resolution and construction claims.
- A secondary construction legal qualification (or interested in pursuing).
- Ability to use planning software (P6, Asta, Microsoft Planner) would also be an advantage.
- Background in Energy, Process/Chemical Engineering, or structural design experience would also be an advantage.
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related qualification beneficial
