The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our Completions team at HKA within our Sydney Office. At HKA we value sharp commercial minds that are underpinned by a track record delivering profitable and timely projects. 

You will lead the establishment and tracking of progressive completions and will assist with the completion of projects through to the end of their lifecycle. You will be critically involved with coordinating all the different interfaces and ensuring the smooth completion of projects. You will be heavily involved in supporting the timely completion of activities and tasks associated with integration.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating handover and completion in accordance with the D&C Deed and Project Deed,
  • Leading the establishment and tracking of progressive completions and handover information management for Construction, Operational Readiness, Opening Completion and Completion.
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management, or business management,
  • Prior experience within experience in engineering/technical/completions management of large-scale infrastructure projects,
  • Proven experience working with major Contractors and Certifiers in the delivery of major projects,
  • Strong experience in systems, quality, completions, and operational roles,
  • Ability to form and develop strong relationships with personnel to promote collaboration and effective influence decision making,
  • Intimate knowledge of systems, handover, completions, and reporting requirements necessary for the completion and project acceptance of large infrastructure projects,
  • The ability to take initiative and willingness to grow and develop internally,
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own time in an environment with several competing requirements.
  • Prior experience and confidence to develop and lead completion reporting on Contractor and other areas within the project related to completion.

 

Skills and Experience

You will have proven experience within Completions, coupled with a confident ability, to work and liaise with our Transport clients and other major stakeholders. You will also have previous experience working collaboratively with internal and external clients and contractors.

Ideally you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management, or business management,
