Our UK business is looking to develop our teams, we are looking for experienced quantity surveyors that are looking to make the transition into specialising in dispute resolution and construction claims or indeed those that are already experienced in this field of expertise to be based in our Birmingham office.

We welcome applications from candidates with the following background:

  • Commercial/ Engineering related degree qualification and demonstrable experience of working in the construction industry in a quantity surveying capacity.
  • At least 3 years post-graduate Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering experience gained from the construction contracting or the engineering sector.
  • Experience in any of the following four sectors; construction; oil & gas; power/energy; process plant; industrial.
  • A keen interest in developing their experience with dispute resolution and construction claims.
  • Gained, working towards or interested in gaining a secondary construction legal qualification

For senior positions desirable attributes include;

  • Membership of a relevant professional construction body (MRICS, MCIArb, etc)
  • Experience in managing claims or adjudication/arbitration proceedings
